Scott Kuhlman is an experienced fire investigation expert with over 23 years of experience conducting over 2000 origin and cause investigations in both public and private sectors. As a Fire Captain/Investigator and for the Orange County Fire Authority and Director of the CCAI Fire Investigator Academy, he leverages 29 years as a professional firefighter to lead complex fire investigations across various settings. He has comprehensive fire investigation training totaling over 1730 hours and has instructed over 1450 training hours. Kuhlman serves as 1st Vice President of the California Conference of Arson Investigators, developing updated state curriculum and chairing regional training across the state. His contributions have been recognized with multiple industry awards.
