Eugenia “Gigi” Chan is a community services liaison for the Los Angeles County Fire Department where she is passionate about serving the communities by providing safety programs. Chan provides support to the Explorer program, Community Emergency Response Team program, and Listos Program within the department. As a certified instructor it gives her a great pleasure to be of service to the ones that are in need. She serves as a committee member for the California State Firefighters' Association Pathways Program to promote and educate young adults interested in the fire service. She has over 20 years of experience with non-profit organizations working with youth programs, including Boys and Girls Club of America, City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, and the Boy Scouts of America where she was Director of the Exploring program. As a product of the program, she continues to give back to the communities where she provides soft skills workshops, career speakers programs, resume building, interview preparation, and more that our youth will need to enter the workforce.
